DJ KONSISTANCE
TJ Proctor a.k.a DJ Konsistance is no stranger to the DJ world. Listening to radio DJ’s at an early age, his natural love for music inspired him to purchase his first set of turntables. Quickly working up the ranks while perfecting his craft, Konsistance landed a spot on WMUC, a College Park radio station. He has performed a wide array of events from high school proms and homecomings, to performing on chartered yachts and weddings. You can find Konsistance appearing at events all across the DMV and in plenty of the area’s night life hubs as well. He’s opened for major artists such as Ja Rule, and has been the support for numerous music acts in the Tri-state region. If there is one thing you can count on, it’s definitely Konsistance’s ability to get any party jumping!

Why do you love to DJ? DJing is like an art, you can always learn something new every time. I like being the reason why everyone is having a good time, you’re literally the life of the party.
What is your favorite DJ memory? One of my favorite DJ memories is when I opened up for Ja Rule for an private event.
What’s your proudest DJ moment so far? My proudest moment as a DJ thus far is when someone I don’t know comes up to me and says you’re my favorite DJ and I should be on syndicate radio.
If you could DJ in any time period when would it be and why? I would have to say the early 2000’s because people actually loved to have a good time and united musically.
